how many of you noticed this feature? not sure why it is left, it looks like a developer debug menu left behind, but it is cool and very good for developers that wants to try html/JavaScript fragments, and debug/performance tune their web application.
from the "Safari" menu click on "Preferences" then goto tab "Advanced" and check the lower checkbox named "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
next you see the "Develop" menu and its options at the menu bar.
with this menu you can open a snippet editor that allows you to key in html/JS snippets and see the behavior immediately.
another thing you can do is control the way that safari identifies to the web site, a lot of clients supported.
more you can disable/enable cache, images, styles, JavaScript, etc.
another option this menu provide is and error console that provide a log for errors that occurre during page display or ajax call.
next we have the web inspector and network monitor that allows to inspect what a page is downloading (images, JS, CSS, etc.) and how much time is spent on each component.
